River Lodge

The River Lodge is actually two independent living spaces sharing a spacious living room.  On the south side downstairs is a formal dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, full bath with jetted tub (with a view to the river) and a laundry room.  Upstairs is a huge bedroom suite with queen bed, ample space for a sofa and entertainment center, full bath room with shower, two large closets and a balcony depicted below.  The other living space, occupying the upstairs of the northern aspect of the building, is an apartment with queen bed, eating bar, and living room with satellite TV connection, kitchenette, and large bathroom with shower and jetted tub (again with a view to the river).  The dining bar and living room look out through a large picture window to a meadow and forested area - a favorite haunt of the fauna that spend time at the ranch.  The river lodge has a very spacious two vehicle garage with a storage room in back of one of the parking spaces.  A separate hot water heater services each of the living spaces.  The steep valleys in the roof are protected from ice build-up by an automated electrical heating system.  This home is serviced by an underground propane tank and has a backup electric generator.  An automated underground system irrigates the lawn and landscaping.

The living room with its vaulted ceiling has a stone fireplace with thermostatically controlled gas logs that provide a safe, convenient heating system for this large room.  Seen above is the view of the river from the its west facing windows.  It measures 25 by 16 feet giving it  400 SF.

The porch depicted above faces south and west with a view to the river from both directions.  The dining room windows (second picture) afford the same views of the river.  The kitchen has handcrafted cabinetry and a new range, microwave oven, sink and tile flooring.  The kitchen and breakfast nook windows face the east.  The dining room, kitchen and bathroom (seen below) comprise 604 SF.

These pictures are from the downstairs bathroom in the main (southern) portion of the house, with the windows affording an excellent view of the river and the mountains beyond.

This very spacious master suite (972 SF) has room for an entertainment center and desk, as well as traditional bedroom furniture.  The door seen in the first picture opens to the balcony  where one can view the river, meadow and mountains to the west.

The apartment is shown above with a view out the north window from both the sofa and the dining bar.  Also shown is the spacious bedroom alcove, the galley kitchen, and bathroom with river view from the jetted tub.  The apartment has 761 SF and the garage below is 32 by 34 feet for a total of almost 1100 SF.
