| Alta Meadow is not just beautiful in winter - it's fun! A trail system, designed and marked for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing wanders along icy streams, through forests and fields, and if you're feeling strong - to the hilltops. You can have an ideal outing entirely on level ground, or find challenging terrain just a few yards away. And you'll discover many scenic rest stops for wildlife viewing, and perhaps a picnic. The ranch system also connects with trails leading into the surrounding wilderness. A downhill ski area is nearby. |
