CROSS COUNTRY SKI TRAILS
These ski trails located at Chief Joseph Pass, on the Idaho-Montana border, have been developed through a cooperative effort between the Bitterroot Cross County Ski Club and the US Forest Service. They are groomed once a week weather permitting, usually on a Thursday or Friday by volunteers from the ski club. There are no fees charged for their use. They range in difficulty from easy to expert; approximately 24 kilometers of trails are groomed. Bitterroot Cross
